About Sheen's Nursery
Sheen's Nursery School is a family run nursery. The owners, Roisin and her husband Simon, have worked extremely hard to make this nursery a beautiful, homely setting. They have a young family of their own, with Noel who is 7 and Sadie, 4. Having a young family of their own, they understand the importance of parents feeling confident that their children are receiving the highest quality care. Simon is a bricklayer by trade and will be helping with any ongoing maintenance of the nursery.
Roisin has worked in childcare for almost 15 years and is passionate about ensuring that every child feels secure, happy and confidently achieving their milestones. Roisin has created strong bonds with all children she has cared for, they have often called her ‘Sheen’, hence the name for the nursery!

Our Mission
At Sheen's Nursery, our mission consists of providing a homely, warm and nurturing environment where children feel safe. The children are at the heart of everything that we do. Our unique Nursery offers various activities that are specifically designed to encourage each child’s growth. We use natural and locally sourced resources within a minimalistic space to encourage and foster imagination and high quality play. We aim to be an eco-friendly and sustainable nursery school that tries to avoid single use plastic. We want to look after the world that our children will grow up in. Using a modern approach, children reach their social, emotional and physical milestones naturally and with ease.
